A graduate student at Support University, Grape Candy studies Meme Science while tutoring other students in Reddit Karma. Grape Candy met the Kings of Men team by becoming friends with member Baby Aspirin through an online game. "[Playing with KoM] definitely brings a level of competitiveness to my life that I don't get doing anything else in my life. I don't really play any sports right now, and as far as the games I play... I get to be a lot more competitive." Grape Candy says that through KoM, he has changed as a person. The team makes him feel like he has somewhere to be, in a sense of community, a home.

Grape Candy's main goal of KoM is to make good relationships between people with similar interests. However, there is still the glimmer of hope that his team will be highly professional. His goals are conveyed to his teammates by being known as the nicest player on the team and the most understanding. When upset, his teammates quickly ask what is wrong because his attitude is always so pristine.
